It started with a Remix for Demuir & Phil Week's Single "Be a star" followed by a track featured on Oliver Dollar's label Industry Standard. Dons style is heavily influenced by 90s House. Drawing inspiration from artists like Kenny Dope, Kerri Chandler, Chez Damier.

In 2023, most of Don Swing's tracks were featured in the Traxsource Deep House Charts. Many of them becoming "track of the day" and finding their way into the Deep House Top 10. His tracks have been charted by DJ such as Todd Terry, Mousse T., Honey Dijon. His Dopewax release "Oh Why" was number one on the Deep House Charts for weeks! Don has released on the finest labels out there. Real Tone Records, Dopewax, Brooklyn Built, Large Music and more.

1. The foundation. The beat.

/Creating a beat with Maschine (48 Min
In this episode as we explore beat creation using a Maschine! Learn how to use a pre-made kit, create powerful drum beats, and apply swing to your rhythm. We'll also discuss why swing matters in beat-making and more. Don't have a Maschine or an MPC? Don't worry, the insights are universally applicable. Let's go!

In this episode, will delve into the significance of gain staging and its impact on your mix. After setting the perfect gain levels for each sound, we'll meticulously balance and EQ the beat, one sound at a time.

/Slicing&sampling to create a beat
In this episode, we will flip a Hip Hop beat into a dirty House beat using Logic's stock sampler. We will add sounds by using the Kontakt sampler. We'll also introduce a helpful Chrome extension for easy sampling. All the methods show can be applied to any DAW.

2. Adding deepness, adding harmonies!

3. We need bass!

In this episode, we're switching things up by replacing our existing percussion with a fresh, organic loop from Loopcloud. We'll skillfully tune it to blend seamlessly with our beat.


5. Adding and replacing elements!
